A-Gas, a leader in environmentally responsible lifecycle refrigerant management, has completed a significant project for a global technology provider. The initiative involved the safe recovery of over 73,000 lbs of R410A refrigerant across five buildings, equipped with 222 cooling units, which were in the process of being decommissioned. This undertaking highlighted A-Gas' dedication to both safety and environmental conservation.

The project was critical in preventing the release of harmful refrigerants, equating to a saving of 70,226 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2e). Additionally, through the A-Gas buyback programme, the technology provider enjoyed direct economic benefits, further reinforcing the value of environmentally conscious operations.

A-Gas Rapid Recovery, hailed as the premier on-site refrigerant recovery service, played a pivotal role in the swift and effective completion of this ambitious project. Renowned for its high-speed capabilities, Rapid Recovery offers results up to ten times faster than conventional methods, thereby minimising system downtime significantly.

Importantly, A-Gas Rapid Recovery operates round-the-clock and is adaptable to a myriad of industries, ensuring that refrigerant removal is both cost-effective and compliant with all regulations. This 24/7 availability provides clients with unparalleled flexibility and assurance of seamless operation.

Throughout the project, A-Gas ensured full compliance by providing comprehensive EPA documentation, as well as undertaking thorough refrigerant analysis. Their global expertise and safety-first practices are instrumental in achieving economic and environmental objectives for their clients' technology infrastructure. By doing so, A-Gas not only supports operational continuity but also fosters sustainable progress.
