Senkron Digital unveils new EMS for hybrid energy

Senkron launches an EMS to streamline hybrid renewable energy plant management.

Senkron Digital has made waves in the energy sector with the launch of their new energy management system (EMS). Tailored for hybrid renewable energy plants equipped with battery storage, this innovative solution is now part of the OnePact Suite and was unveiled at TÜREK 2025.

The rising complexities of hybrid energy projects in Southern and Eastern Europe have highlighted the demand for efficient control systems. Developers are increasingly blending solar and wind power with battery storage, crucial for consistent output amid evolving regulations. However, existing control systems weren't designed with hybrid scenarios in mind, posing challenges for scalable, efficient management.

Senkron’s EMS aims to fill this void by providing an integrated platform for monitoring and managing renewable resources and storage units. The system allows real-time control and visibility, facilitating quicker, more informed operational decisions. This, in turn, helps to optimise output and minimise unexpected downtimes.

This new function has been developed with input from energy specialists deeply immersed in plant operations, addressing the industry's call for software that matches technical prowess with on-site practicality.

Ali Inal, Managing Director at Senkron Digital, remarked that the industry needs smarter, unified control systems, as legacy set-ups often fail to meet modern demands. Emphasising the EMS’s practical design, he acknowledged the software’s alignment with actual hybrid plant operations.

The system is cloud-based, ensuring seamless integration with current infrastructures. Its aim is to support asset owners, operators, and independent power producers in maximising efficiency and revenue from complex project portfolios. By merging advanced software capabilities with grounded practical insights, operators can manage diversified assets confidently.
