Revolut, the renowned global fintech leader, has announced a significant deepening of its strategic partnership with Google Cloud. This multi-year collaboration, worth millions, will see Revolut harnessing Google Cloud's secure and scalable infrastructure to sustain its rapid global growth.

Having already secured its position as a dominant force in mobile app markets and a major partner for Google Pay and Wallet, Revolut aims to further its reach to over 100 million customers globally through this enhanced partnership. By leveraging Google's advanced technology capabilities, Revolut plans to enrich every aspect of its operations, enhancing both back-end processes and the customer-facing app experience.

The partnership will deploy Google's AI and machine learning tools, including Gemini models, to improve fraud detection and offer more tailored financial products for users worldwide. David Tirado, Vice President of Global Business and Profitability at Revolut, emphasises this collaboration as a cornerstone in their strategy to revolutionise finance.

Revolut's innovation roadmap is ambitious. Recent developments include the launch of ATMs in Europe, innovative savings and investment tools, and plans to introduce comprehensive mobile plans in the UK and Germany. This partnership with Google ensures the scalable infrastructure to support these groundbreaking services, paving the way for a new era of financial solutions.
