Blueprint data centers' strategic investment in Austin's digital infrastructure

Blueprint Data Centers invests in Austin’s data centers, promising expedited deployment by 2026 with a capacity of 85MW across strategic sites.

Blueprint Data Centers has unveiled plans to significantly enhance its Austin portfolio, setting an ambitious target for its digital infrastructure advancement. These state-of-the-art facilities in Taylor and Georgetown are expected to be operational by 2026, collectively offering an impressive 85MW capacity.

The Taylor site, a mere stone’s throw from the Samsung chip complex, is poised to deliver 60MW, while Georgetown will provide 25MW. These sites benefit from substantial property tax abatements and are underpinned by committed utility power, ensuring a swift deployment of crucial digital projects.

Austin's reputation as a hub for digital expansion is propelled further by Blueprint's flexible data centres. Designed to accommodate a diverse array of applications, from AI to advanced computing, these facilities offer strategic operational benefits. Businesses can seamlessly integrate into Austin’s tech-forward scene, enhancing connectivity in a field where digital demands are ever-growing.

As data production globally registers an annual growth rate of 19%, and with a U.S. market vacancy dwindling to a mere 2.6%, the role of rapid, scalable infrastructures has never been more crucial. Blueprint addresses this with its tailored solutions, ensuring that partners meet their digital transformation goals efficiently.

The vision is spearheaded by an adept leadership team with rich experience in global infrastructure projects. Blueprint’s Founder and CEO, Yaerid Jacob, emphasises the importance of ‘time-to-power’ for strategic success. Supported by leaders like Samarth Maira, Jim Reinhart, and others, the team’s collective expertise spans over 1GW of data centre experience, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project deliveries.

Understanding the dynamics of current market demands, Blueprint’s strategic approach prepares businesses to leverage the robust Austin ecosystem effectively.
