Riello UPS merges with Constant Power Services & Powertecnique

Riello UPS Ltd, the UK subsidiary of the globally renowned Italian UPS manufacturer RPS SpA, officially announces its merger with Constant Power Services and Powertecnique.

This strategic merger, which will take effect from Wednesday 1 January 2025, aims to enhance service offerings, expand customer support, and drive innovation in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) industry.

Integrating the strengths, expertise, and resources of Constant Power Services and Powertecnique into the already well-established Riello UPS brand will create a unified entity that is better positioned to meet evolving customer needs.

Upon implementation of the merger at the start of next year, the number of Riello UPS employees will more than double from its current figure of just under 90 to more than 180, with engineering resource specifically more than trebling.

While in addition to the 27,500 square foot Riello UPS headquarters in Wrexham, North Wales, the unified company will enjoy a truly nationwide presence thanks to its two offices in the south of England, plus another facility in Scotland.

The merger underscores Riello UPS’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service, cutting-edge technology, and reliable power protection solutions to clients across the UK and beyond.

Leo Craig, Managing Director of Riello UPS, commented: “We are excited to unite Constant Power Services and Powertecnique under the Riello UPS Ltd banner.

“Riello UPS is already renowned for commitment to customer service, from our 5 year extended warranty on all UPS up to and including 3 kVA and industry-leading bespoke maintenance plans with guaranteed emergency response and fix times, through to our Certified Engineer Training Programme and Approved Service Partner Scheme.

“All these qualities remain unchanged. Indeed, this merger is a significant milestone that will enhance our ability to deliver even stronger service and innovative solutions to our customers. We are confident that this strategic move will create new opportunities for major growth and success in the future.”
