OryxAlign shortlisted for DCS Awards 2024.

Managed service provider OryxAlign has been shortlisted in the Data Centre Managed Services Vendor of the Year category at the annual DCS Awards 2024. Having represented the UK’s leading data centre operators for the last 13 years, the company stands out for its unique approach to IT infrastructure design, cybersecurity and ongoing IT support services. The company is encouraging readers to vote for it by 3 May – winners will be announced at the DCS Awards ceremony on May 23 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s.

Now in its 14th year, the DCS Awards 2024 celebrates the achievements of the data centre industry, focusing on areas of technological innovation as well as ongoing challenges such as sustainability, the skills shortage, supply chain disruption and the future opportunities and threats posed by AI.

The 2024 DCS Awards feature 39 categories across five groups. In the Data Centre Managed Services Vendor of the Year category, OryxAlign is up against seven other companies. Nominations for the category were open to any commercial organisation manufacturing, selling and/or supporting data centre facilities solutions in the EMEA market.

“Our experience in the data centre industry spans a period of 13 years,” explained Carl Henriksen, founder and CEO of OryxAlign. “During that time, we have been engaged on 16 new data centre build projects, and we currently support the critical IT infrastructure for data centres with a combined total of just under 250 MW of capacity. We presently work with seven data centre operators across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe.

“The highly resilient IT infrastructure we design, implement, support and manage is a fundamental component of any facility - and essential for maintaining critical services such as BMS, PMS, CCTV, security and access control. Service resilience and continuity are vital for successful data centre operations, so we place an emphasis on ensuring our technology meets the highest standards and demands of these mission-critical facilities. Our managed IT services ensure these operations run smoothly and continuously.”
