Keysource supports rolls out of Dell EMC's edge data centres

Keysource, the critical environment specialist, is collaborating with Dell EMC to support multiple edge data centre deployments at key locations across EMEA.

The micro Modular Data Centres (MDCs), designed by Dell EMC’s Extreme Scale Infrastructure team, will help a multinational automotive company in the roll-out of its connected vehicle technology. The goal is to use analytic data at the edge to improve vehicle performance, reliability and driver experience. Keysource will carry out the planned deployment within the next six months and also ongoing maintenance and facilities management for the MDCs.

Oliver Goodman, associate executive and head of projects for Keysource, said: “The connected vehicle market is evolving rapidly, so it’s crucial that technology providers have the infrastructure in place to deliver innovations quickly, and at scale. This approach underpins the collaborative work we are delivering for Dell EMC, with the installation and deployment of each edge data centre taking place over just a few days.”
